Motorfinity, a UK automobile discount specialist for Military, Veterans, Emergency Services, and others, approached Proici with the aim to transform an industrial warehouse into a head office for their young and vibrant team.

The challenge; to transform the existing blank canvas warehouse and combined office space into a modern workspace that fosters a hybrid work structure, including a variety of collaboration locations and open plan breakout spaces to encourage a “freedom of choice” attitude toward the workplace.

One of the main goals in the design was to carefully adapt the design of the fit out and refurbishment to complement Motorfinity’s brand values, business culture and branding colourations through a delicately selected industrial design language. A bold colour scheme was decided upon for the furnishings and finishes to contrast the monochromic elements of the partition framing and walls.

This design language and colour scheme was further accentuated by distinctive chevron lighting installed throughout, giving the area a powerful yet playful vibrant personality. The high open ceiling gave way for modern exposed air handling and electrical trays which were deliberately chosen to further enhance the industrial aesthetic.

In order to compensate for the high ceilings and solid surfaces throughout the open plan, hybrid meeting locations we installed multiple acoustic solutions, including bespoke hanging panels and acoustic pendant lighting which when installed correctly aids to soften and absorb noise pollution.
